A Limerick Look at the Leaders- Canadian Election

There is a man named Stephen,
Who thought the budget should be even.
In a recession, a deficit is  OK,
Stimulate the economy, we may.
But overall our finances must break-even.

Another man is Trudeau,
Whose views we don’t always know.
The budget will take care of itself.
I have to elect myself.
New infrastructure on you I”ll bestow

This spending will cause growth
Which no one will surely loath.
A few deficits-- don’t fear
They will soon disappear.
The Greek disaster I quote.

Or maybe Mulcair, you would rather
Who says deficits do matter.
The first year his budget will balance
But can we give him credence?
His spending promises don’t adder.

Then, there’s a more important matter
That applies to the two latter.
Pro-life views they do not permit
In parliament, these people may not sit.
Baby killers they would have rather.
